Planning a Darwin to Broome camping trip

My partner and I have just decided to self-drive and camp from Darwin to Broome through the Kimberleys but that's about as far as we have made it in our planning.

What a wonderful website!!! Don't know much about the area so I will purchase Destination Kimberley ASAP. Will that be enough of a resource to plan our trip??

We wanted to avoid a paid trip with an itinerary. We have both done some camping, but would like to take 3-4 weeks to do the trip. We'd also like to know what month is best to travel? Thank you so much for your time.

3-4 weeks is the perfect time frame for this trip, and yes, Destination Kimberley is all you will need for planning and guidance. It's perfect if you want to do a camping trip.
